Honeypot Launch

Do you have a really great idea, but you’re not sure how to develop it further and need a team of like-minded enthusiasts to get it off the ground, then join the Honeypot party.

Honeypot is a cross-School enterprise opportunity exclusively for undergraduate students. You can share ideas and recruit students from other courses to help you to develop your ideas into a project. You do not necessarily have to come up with an idea, but you can join in and have a look, or join a project that someone else has started.

There is a prize for the most popular concept, and over £20,000 to support teams to turn some of your ideas into prototypes.

Technician Demonstration

To start the new academic year we ran a special Technical Facilities Showcase which involved demonstrations of the facilities in the School.

On Tuesday 16 September we offered drop-in sessions for all staff to come along and learn more about the technical facilities, and also to see the changes that were made during the summer.

The sessions ran throughout the day, starting from 10.15am until approximately 3.00pm with two sessions per area, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

We encouraged all staff to come along to a session to see the fantastic facilities we have on offer in the School.
