Make your voice heard
We want to hear from you..
What is the NSS?
The National Student Survey (NSS) offers final year undergraduates the chance to give feedback on their time at Huddersfield.
The next survey takes place in January 2016, but you don’t have to wait until then to share your views. We welcome your comments at any time and you can use the feedback section to let us know what you think works well or needs improving.
We value our students’ feedback and your opinions about being a student at Huddersfield are really important to us.
By taking part in the survey, you can help future students decide where and what to study.
Your feedback will help to shape the University and the student experience, both for students who are already here and those who’ll join us in the future.
When January comes, all we ask is that you spend approximately five minutes completing the survey. The sooner you can complete the survey the better as Ipsos MORI – an independent market research company, who manage the survey – will continue to remind you until you’ve completed it.
We’ve given you an advanced look at the NSS questions so you can see what you’ll be asked.
The NSS Questions
You’ll be asked to rate the following on a score of 1 to 5, with 5 being “Definitely Agree”. When answering consider your whole experience at Huddersfield, from your time as a fresher right up to now.

Organisation and management
We welcome your feedback throughout the year; you don’t have to wait until the survey in January. We encourage you to share your views with us now on any aspect of student life which you feel works well or could be improved. Simply post your comment below and this will provide us with the opportunity to work on any issues or make any changes to improve our students’ experience.
You said, we did
As a result of the feedback you’ve given us, here are some of the improvements we’ve already made to the Huddersfield Student Experience.
