ICE : Jonathan Sands - Branding Yourself for Employment (2017/18)

Dear Student,

Do not miss this one off opportunity to hear Prof Jonathan Sands OBE speak on how to brand yourself. This event is open to all UG students across the university and is an event not to be missed. Who else could give branding advice but the world’s most effective brand consultancy “Elmwood” (a global company with its headquarters in Leeds), Johnathan is the Vexillifer (chairman) of Elmwood brand consultancy and our Visiting Professor of Innovation for the ICE project.

This is one of our most popular events in the ICE series – Johnathan explores how to Brand Yourself for Employment (how to stand out from the crowd, and things to avoid) – this topic is particularly relevant for students looking to undertake a placement or applying for graduate jobs. To avoid disappointment please book early on this particular event as there are limited places.

Jonathan is a former Chairman of the Design Business Association, a non-executive director of Networking for Industry and a past member of the RSA Council. He is also a current council member of the Design Council where he chairs the Design Skills Advisory Panel. Jonathan was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science by the University of Huddersfield for his contribution to the design industry. In 2011 Jonathan was included HRH The Queen's New Year's List of Honours for his services to the creative industries. Jonathan Sands OBE is renowned for his expertise in brand design and is the Chairman of the brand agency Elmwood. Elmwood has offices in Leeds, London, Melbourne, Singapore and New York, and has won more 'International Design Effectiveness Awards' than any other agency.......EVER.
