Opening times and our offer!

During term-time, the Careers and Employability Service is open weekdays 10.00am - 4.00pm excluding bank holidays.

During holiday periods (over summer and winter breaks) we are open at reduced hours from 11.00am - 3.00pm until the start of term, excluding university closure.

 

What do we offer students?

Our services include:

• The use of our systems which aid with:
  • JobShop and vacancy advertising via MyCareer
  • Appointment and event booking via MyCareer
  • Online CV and job applications checks and other queries
  • CV and cover letter builder through MyCareerPlus
  • Practice psychometric tests via MyCareer Plus
  • Assessment centre and Interview support through MyCareer Plus
  • And much more!
• Careers advice available via online, in person, telephone or skype.
  
  
• Events dedicated to improving your employability. Achieved through employer presentations, Fairs or employability workshops.
  
  
• Plenty of helpful resources accessibly by a plethora of mediums
  
  
• Guidance and support for all types of employment- part time, internships, placements, volunteering, graduate roles etc, for the entirety of your course and for life as a graduate.
