Activating your student account

All new students are required to change their passwords at first login.  This is to help prevent your account being subject to identify theft as your initial password of date of birth is not secure for long term use.

You can change your password by using one of the methods listed below:

Method 1: Automatic activation by logging into a campus PC
The first time you login to a campus PC, you will be forced to change your password as part of the login process. The password must be a minimum of 7 characters in length.

Method 2: Go to
You will be asked to type your username and password (date of birth) into a small web-based application. You will then be asked to enter a new password. Once you have done this, you will be able to click a button to activate your account.
