Prayer and worship
As chaplains we are happy to offer to pray for you. There is an opportunity for you to make prayer requests on our pray one for me page. These can be anonymous if you wish and all requests will be included in our chaplains’ prayers.
We also have a prayer tree in the Faith Centre where you may leave a prayer either written or by tying a ribbon to the tree.
The chaplains are also happy to pray with people on an individual basis - please speak to one of them to organise an appropriate time.
Informal Communion Service
Please contact the Faith Centre email@example.com to find out details of communion services.
Friday prayers are held by a visiting Imam in the prayer rooms every Friday at 12.30pm and 1.30pm between November and March and 1.30pm and 2.30pm between April and October. If one congregation is full, please wait for the second. Please follow the directions of the stewards.
Please note the sisters meet in the Multi-faith prayer room QSA/09 for Jummah on Fridays only.
Spiritual Accompaniment and Prayer
Deacon Keith Ballard is available in the University each week to offer spiritual direction and prayer accompaniment to individual staff and students of any Christian denomination on a ‘one off’ basis or over longer periods of time. He also offers the opportunity to celebrate short liturgies and Bible study/reflection during Advent and Lent and at any other times upon request.
