Learning Mentor, Mick Berry, and Wellbeing Adviser, Clare John, discuss how learning mentors from Disability Services support students at the University of Huddersfield. Mick and Clare talk about how students with disabilities can benefit from a learning mentor and some of the common disabilities supported by learning mentors. 


9. Mental Health Advisers in Wellbeing Services

Mental Health Adviser, Kelly Boyd, and Wellbeing Adviser, Clare John, discuss how Mental Health Advisers from Wellbeing Services support students who may have mental health issues at the University of Huddersfield. Kelly and Clare talk about mental health issues for students and how a Mental Health Adviser can support them throughout their studies.

10. Introduction to Report and Support

Student Peer Educators, Lucy and Desiree, and Wellbeing Adviser, Clare John, discuss Report and Support and how Wellbeing Services support students who may have experienced hate crime or hate incidents. Lucy and Desiree explain their role as Peer Educators and the Report and Support website, which support students who are victims of hate crime, hate incidents and situations that have made them feel uncomfortable.
