Our one-to-one appointments give you the opportunity to speak with one of our Advisers and discuss any troubles you are facing. All our appointments are booked via iPoint. You can contact them on 01484 471001, drop them an email to ipoint@hud.ac.uk, or visit in person at iPoint, Level 4, Student Central (opening hours: 8.00am–6.00pm term time and 9.00am-5.00pm summer and Christmas holidays).

All appointments will be held in one of the Wellbeing and Disability Services private Advice Rooms. These are located on Level 4 of Student Central. Both appointments allow you to explore your worries and concerns in a confidential space with one of our advisers. We offer on-going support as needed and we can also refer you to specialist organisations that may be able to offer tailored support and advice specific to your personal welfare needs.


Same day appointments

Our same day appointments are as straight-forward as they sound: you simply turn up and book an appointment for later that day. They are offered on a first come, first served basis. All our appointments last up to 30 minutes, allowing you to explore your worries and concerns in a confidential space with one of our advisers. We offer on-going support as needed and we can also refer you to specialist organisations that may be able to offer tailored support and advice specific to your personal welfare needs.


Advanced booking appointments

Advanced booking appointments are appointments that are scheduled in advance. This gives you more flexibility in times and dates, and allows you to pick a slot that’s most suitable for you.
