Spring Festival 2024

We welcomed in the Year of the Dragon in February 2024 on campus during Global Week. All our students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in South-East Asian culture with workshops and performances from our Chinese, British, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese students alongside the Confucius Institute.

We also welcomed the Chinese Consulate to the evening gala who said "the performances at the gala were truly captivating, and what stood out to me was the remarkable international spirit showcased by the University of Huddersfield. It was evident that the event was a celebration not just for the Chinese community, but for the entire campus, embracing the spirit of unity and diversity."
