GET2 is an enterprise skills audit designed to help you discover your strengths in relation to entreprenuership.
The JISC discovery tool enables you to explore the different elements we call ‘digital capabilities’ and to find out more about your own digital practice. Through answering the questions within these audits you will assess your confidence and capability in the areas relevant to you. At the end you will receive a personal report with next steps to try and links to relevant resources.
To access the JISC digital skills audit, go to the JISC Discovery Tool login page and, when prompted to select your organisation, choose the University of Huddersfield from the list and continue. You will be redirected to the University's library page which may require you to sign in using your University credentials.
Once logged in you will be presented with different audits to choose from.
Once you have completed an audit, you can access your personalised report (You can access these again at any time through the reports section). Take some time to read through your results to acknolwedge your strength areas but also consider what actions you can take to develop in the areas you scored low in.
These audits can be completed at your own pace, at any time.
If you complete any of the JISC audits you may use the experience as evidence towards your Electives portfolio. The evidence required is a reflection of your personal and professional learning from engaging with the opportunity, which should be added to your Electives portfolio document. This will be found on your Brightspace GPA module.
You can contribute 30 minutes per audit, assuming you have taken time to read the report and reflect on the results.

An enterprising tendency is defined as the tendency to start up and manage projects - highly enterprising people do this more often and are more innovative in their approach. Enterprise may be expressed by starting your own business, operating as an intrapreneur within an organisation or setting up community ventures. The GET2 self assessment test should take you about ten minutes to complete and will give you an idea of your enterprising potential. Your ability to express your enterprising potential may depend on the changing constraints and contexts in your life and career. Your enterprising tendency may also change in response to challenges you face at different key phases of your life and career development.
Visit the GET2 website and take the test by answering the 'agree/disagree' style questions. Upon completion you will be given a report of the findings.
