How do I get started at the University?
The first thing you need to do is follow our Quick Start Guide. It is essential that you complete the 8 steps to getting started.
What is MyHud and how do I access it?
MyHud is your digital student portal and houses all you need as a student at Huddersfield. This includes your timetable, email, tutor information and print credits, plus links to our full range of services and support. You can access MyHud on a web brower, or you can download the MyHud app from the Apple App Store (for Apple devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices). Please see the discover MyHud section for further guidance on logging in.
Where can I find my timetable?
You can find your timetable on the calendar tile on your homepage of MyHud.
I'm having an issue with my timetable - what should I do?
There are a number of reasons you may not be able to see your timetable. Please ensure you complete step 1 and step 2 of the 8 steps to getting started, and read the detailed information on the timetable information pages for further support and guidance. If you still have issues, please contact IT.support@hud.ac.uk.
How do I access my student email account?
You can access your student email account on the email tile on your MyHud homepage. You simply click the tile to access your email account. If you have no unread emails, the envelope icon will appear on the tile. If you have emails to read, these will preview in the tile on your homepage.
I'm a current student trying to re-register - what should I do?
To re-register, please go to the re-registration portal. If you cannot re-register using this link, you are advised to contact your school. You can find details of who to contact on our school contacts page.
I'm self-isolating. Is any support available?
