On the day of your ceremony, we need you to arrive about 90 minutes before the ceremony start time so that you can register that you are here, collect your tickets, find your robe and have any photographs taken. Everything is located together within our University campus, to help, the below timetable offers guidance on when and where you need to be throughout your time with us. Please remember that if you miss your registration time or are not seated at your ceremony before the latest time shown, then neither you nor your guests will be able to gain entry to your ceremony. If you are having photographs taken, they can be done either before or after your ceremony.

Entry to both graduation ceremony venues is strictly by ticket only and admission will be refused to non-ticket holders.

Private photography is allowed in the hall, but we ask that guests do not leave their seats during the ceremony as this causes disruption to other guests. Flash photography and video cameras are not allowed during the ceremony at both venues. A professional photographer will be present in the hall to take the moment that you cross the stage and this will be available after the ceremony.

A group photo of all the graduating students will be taken at the start of the ceremony and uploaded to the graduation tagging site so that you can share the occasion online.  If you would prefer not to be included in the picture you will be given the opportunity to move out of shot.

Ceremonies last about an hour and are followed by a celebratory drinks reception.

Arrival times for November 2024 will be published in October 2024.
