Your ID card
Your student ID must be carried with you at all times. It has several important functions:
- For attendance monitoring purposes. Without swiping your card on the reader near the entrance to your teaching room, your attendance will not be recorded. The Students Union have produced a video regarding attendance at University.
- To access buildings and facilities such as the Library.
- As ID for campus security. If a member of staff requests to see your student ID, it is important to show it.
You must only have one campus card in your possession at any one time. For more information about this, please read the attendance monitoring section of the Students' Handbook of Regulations.
