The following School buildings are open to students between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday: Haslett, Sparck-Jones and Laura Annie Willson.
Alternative study and social spaces are available in Student Central; open until 10pm Monday to Friday and at . The Library Services publish their own access times, as they vary depending on the time of year. Visit our Campus Access pages for more detail.
We want to support you in your studies and appreciate that not all software required for your course is currently available in the Library.
A PC Lab is available in Sparck-Jones, Ground Floor, Room 03 (SJG/03) during the following the hours:
This facility is only available to Computing and Engineering students and should be accessed via swipe from Commercial Street (https://w3w.co/entire.start.follow). Please do not allow access to other users, individuals should enter using their own card.
To help ensure safe operation, we would ask that you please use the form provided by the entrance to register your arrival and departure. Your safety and welfare are important to us so please familiarise yourself with the instructions for use during these times.
*For Music Technology students
Students who need access to the Laura Annie Willson Building where you undertake studio sessions (classes and assessment / project work) will continue to be available / open as per the times below:
The current signing in/out arrangements will remain in place as previously for Laura Annie Willson studios (Greenrooms, Redrooms, Bluerooms and LMP) for out of hours work (weekend).
This facility is only for Computing and Engineering students and Arts and Humanities students.
The school would like to kindly remind you if you need assistance whilst using the studios within Laura Annie Willson, to please contact firstly the member of staff on duty (Music Tech Stores, 01484 472695) or in an emergency telephone security hub on 01484 472222.
