How to access the online booking

The booking portal will open on Monday 13 April 2026, and shortly before the online system opens, we will email your personal and University email accounts with the link you need to book your place and that of your guests.

If you do not book your place by the booking deadline, a place at the advertised ceremony can no longer be guaranteed and it may not be possible for you to attend a ceremony with your course colleagues or to have any guests in the main venue.

Relaxed Graduation

For this July, the University is piloting a quiet and relaxed graduation ceremony for students and guests who may find traditional ceremonies overwhelming, including students and guests with learning difficulties, autism, social anxiety or sensory processing difficulties. By offering a smaller, more pared-back event, our aim is to offer a more comfortable graduation experience.  For more information about a Relaxed Graduation please follow this link Relaxed ceremonies - FAQs_published version.pdf .  If you wish to opt into a Relaxed Graduation you can do so via your invitation email.

How many tickets you can book

During the booking process you will be asked how many tickets you want to order. If you are struggling with the process, please download our Step-by-step guide to booking your place.

You will be able to book a maximum of 2 guest tickets in the ceremony venue. You can't have more than the maximum number of guest tickets at this time.

Please remember that if you want to bring a child over 24 months then they must have their own ticket and they will not be allowed in the venues without one.

Guest tickets are free of charge but are only guaranteed in the main venue if ordered before the deadline. All tickets are collected on the day and nothing will be posted out to you.
