Spare guest tickets in the ceremony venue

Spare guest tickets

We offer all graduands a maximum of two guest tickets free of charge at the point you book your place to attend your ceremony. 

Spare guest tickets for our ceremonies are not guaranteed as this is dependent upon the number of students and guests that are booked to attend a ceremony.  The number of spare guest tickets are not calculated until after the publication of results.

We will contact all graduands via email, regardless of whether there are any spare tickets available or not.  For ceremonies where there is spare ticket availability, the email will confirm how and when they can be booked.  Spare tickets for July will be released in June after results notification on the 23 June 2026 - tickets will be released at 12 noon on Tuesday 30 June and ticket sales will close at 12 noon on Thursday 2 July.  All students who have registered to attend will receive an email confirming whether spare tickets will be available, details of when they will be made available and instructions on how to book them. Please note that if there are any spare tickets available, there will be a charge of £7.50 per ticket. 

Family and friends can also watch the live stream of the ceremony for free via their own computer or mobile device, and they do not need to order tickets for this.
