Ramadan and Eid 2024 Announcement
View or download the Ramadan 2024 timetable.
Our staff and students from the Muslim faith will be observing the month of Ramadan (a period of fasting).
Ramadan 2024 will commence on Monday 11 March 2024 and will continue for 29/30 days until Tuesday 9 April 2024 (subject to sighting of the moon).
The festival of Eid al-Fitr 2024 will be celebrated on Wednesday 10 April 2024 (subject to sighting of the moon).
In the Muslim calendar, a day begins on the sunset of the previous day, so observing Muslims will begin observing Ramadan on the sunset of Sunday 10 March 2024. After the completion of Ramadan, the day of Eid will be celebrated.
