The Maker Space is a collaborative workspace designed for creatives, inventors, and enthusiasts to come together, share ideas, learn, and work on various business ideas. Located on the 3rd floor of the prestigious Barbara Hepworth Building in room BH3/07, the space is equipped with tools, equipment, and resources that enable individuals to develop their businesses in areas such as digital design, internet of things, fashion, textiles and more.

How to find The Maker Space

Head to the Barbara Hepworth Building on campus, go up the stairs to reach the 3rd Floor. Turn right past the bathrooms and you will see The Maker Space on your left, in room BH3/07.

Where to park

There are lots of car parks in Huddersfield - one nearby to The Maker Space is the NCP carpark on Colne Road, HD1 3AZ. Spaces are usually available before 9am or after 1pm, particularly in the summer or in term breaks.
