The Self-Service Password Reset System (SSPR) allows you to change your password or unlock your account if you forget your password both on and off campus.
1. Register
This is achieved by navigating to the Password Reset System and completing the steps on screen. You will be asked to provide another email address or phone number that uniquely identify you so that you are able to retrieve your password or reset it in the future.
2. Log in anytime!
Once enrolled, you can then visit the Password Reset System at any time from on or off campus to reset your password.
If you have already enrolled with the SSPR system, you can use this to to change your password or unlock your account if you forget your password both on and off campus.
Simply visit the Password Reset System at any time from on or off campus to reset your password.
If you have not enrolled, and can’t remember your password, please contact IT Support by calling 01484 473737 or visiting the Help Desk in the Library (Level 4, Schwann Building).
Once you have successfully logged in to a campus PC you can change your password as follows:
We recommend that you use a complex password - a minimum of 16 characters, including upper and lower case letters, and some numbers or special characters. It is also recommended that you don't include your name as part of the password.
