Attendance Matters

Attendance really does matter!

Students who attend well often have a better learning experience and often attain a better degree. Your success matters!

We want to help you overcome any barriers to your attendance and keep you heading toward success. We recommend you look at the attendance policy as we will monitor your attendance and support you where needed to help you attend.

If you want to discuss your attendance with us you can book a review at any time during your studies.

Swipe it right!

Record your attendance to sessions by swiping your card on the card reader every time you enter a room. Once you have swiped into a session we expect that you will remain in that session but understand that in some circumstances you may need to leave early, if this happens please inform your tutor before leaving the session. We do regular spot checks on attendance in sessions so please do follow these steps.

If you are concerned that a swipe machine is not working please let us know by emailing contactattendance@hud.ac.uk and we will check the machine. You can check if your swipe has been recorded by selecting the attendance tab in MyHud.

Attend. Engage. Succeed.
