National Self Care Week 14 - 20 November 2022 (for students and staff)

The University has joined forces with local health, voluntary and community services to celebrate Self Care Week and promote self care and wellbeing across Kirklees.

Self Care Week is an annual national awareness week that focuses on embedding support for self care across communities, families and generations. Exercise Self Care for Life is the theme for 2022, supporting people to "exercise" self care for a healthier, happier life. Self care and being kind to yourself might involve a physical activity, doing something new or fun, or it might involve talking to someone.

As part of Self Care week, why not try something new? Have a look at the range of free activities and events available to students and staff on campus and virtually.
